If you’re a trade customer or want to save costs by trimming or finishing your own job, you may want to think about receiving your print on 'unfinished' sheets, delivered directly to you rolled and ready to finish.

Your artwork will be printed on 44" wide paper of your choice, perfect for trade printing. We know some of our customers may have their own guillotine or other finishing equipment and are sourcing print for their clients. If that sounds like you, why not take advantage of our capacity to supply untrimmed printed sheets. We print on rolls which are 44" wide (1118mm), 1 - 5 metres in length. Our print is already great value for money and if you can finish your printed job to your own specifications, you’ll save even more!

All you need to do is send us your artwork ready set up to print at your chosen untrimmed sheet size, remembering that the printable area on the roll is slightly smaller that the total roll size: just leave at least 0.5" on the left and right margins and 1" for the top and bottom margins. You can add any trim boxes or crop marks yourself to aid with any trimming that you will do, so long as everything to be printed fits within your chosen sheet size, taking into account the printable area margins noted above. If you would prefer to supply individual images to be printed, but would prefer us to deal with laying out everything to print on the larger sheets, simply contact us via email to discuss your requirements (the printing price will be the same, but there will be an additional artwork charge, which we would confirm before you decide to go ahead).

Epson Ultrachrome® HDX inks provide a much wider tonal range than even the best home printers. This means higher colour accuracy, greater subtlety and smoother gradations for your images.

Artwork can be sent to info@saxonprint.com. If your file is larger than 10MB in size please can you use a file sharing service such as WeTransfer.

We know that when you are planning to order prints of your artwork, selecting the right paper and obtaining a reproduction quality that you are pleased with is vital.

If you are not sure which paperstock is right for your prints, consider obtaining our giclée sample pack. If there is a specific paperstock that you use, or would like to use, that we do not have listed, let us know and we will ascertain if and how quickly we can set up a custom order for you!

We also offer a discounted A4 proof option. We will print one proof of your image, which you can then review and advise of any colour variations and we'll make changes and send a revised proof, all within the cost of this option. Also, if you are local to our workshop, you can arrange a time to visit with your original art and we can explain how we manage the print process to match the original as closely as possible. Artwork Guidelines - To get the very best results for your print, we recommend supplying your file as a JPEG (or photoshop file) in an RGB colour space,  at 360ppi, see our Technical Help section for more details on how to achieve the best results for your project.

Turnaround Times
Turnaround times are counted in full working days and do not include delivery times, if you place, pay and appove your order to print after 11.00am the turnaround times will start from the next working day. (weekends and bank holidays are not counted as working days).

Delivery Times
Parcels are usually delivered within 2-3 working days, but can take up to 7 workings days depending upon location.
As different products have different turnarounds depending upon the complexity of production involved we may dispatch your order as seperate parcels.

FILE SUBMISSION INFO PLEASE READ:
Files supplied for print must be print ready and adhere fully to our technical guide. Your file(s) will go through our preflight checks at which point a proof will be emailed for approval. If we are unable to print your file recommendations will be suggested to remedy any issues. You will be given the opportunity to alter your original file(s) and resubmit them to us.
